I was born and raised in a hunting family. My first time afield was at the age of 3 and I've been hooked ever since! I'm an avid whitetail and turkey hunter with turkeys being my favorite! My dream hunts are about anything out west with Moose and Bighorn sheep being at the top of that list! Land management is a passion of mine and it takes up most of my free time. My favorite hunting memories so far have been anytime I have had the opportunity to introduce someone new to the great outdoors and living the experience through their eyes. I have found a new addiction in the past couple of years on the water in the late spring and throughout the summer fishing for bass! I am also a sports nuts with the Cards, Blues, Mizzou & Cowboys being my teams! Zach Playle Location: I was born and raised in a hunting family. Hunting and filming hunts is my favorite hobby. I absolutely love it and work 365 days a year doing what I love. Whether it is working at the farm planting, hanging stands, putting out blinds, running cameras, or just spending time in my tractor mowing lanes, it is truly my passion. I started filming hunts at 11 years old after watching all of the Drury Outdoors VHS tapes over and over. My Dad actually filmed my first turkey kill at age 11 then that fall my first deer kill with a bow! From then on, I was always filming my buddies' hunts and my own. I am lucky enough to be in business with my dad. We own a monument company here in North Missouri. So luckily for me, I get to take off a lot of time from work to hunt in the fall and spring. I want to thank Mark, Terry, Matt, and Taylor for giving me the opportunity to be a part of such a great team and most of all great FRIENDS! I feel blessed every day I wake up to be a part of Drury Outdoors!" Adam Anderson Location: Hunting and filming hunts is my favorite hobby. I grew up in the southernmost tip of Illinois which I still reside today. Hinting and fishing has always been a deep passion of mine. I harvested my first nice buck when I was 16 years old and all I can say is I've been hooked every since. There's rarely a day goes by that I'm not strategizing or thinking of a new method to outsmart a mature buck. Turkey hinting is also a passion of mine. It's tough to beat the sounds of the spring woods waking up in the morning. Kelly Turner Location: I grew up in the southernmost tip of Illinois which I still reside today. I have been in and around Drury Outdoors my entire life. From an early age I watched as my Father, Terry, and Uncle Mark grew the company from the ground up. Appearing in several of the original videos as a kid I had received a first hand knowledge of what it took to produce a video. I was lucky enough to be able to sit in on several of Mark and Terry's studio edit sessions and learned to love the "behind the scenes" process more then the actual hunting itself. Dad would even have me working on "EDLs" or Edit Decision Lists back in the linear editing days. Little did I know that later in life those studio sessions would have helped shape my future and career choice. I attended Missouri State in Springfield, MO and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Media with my emphasis being Production. As I was working my way through the curriculum I would spend my summer/spring and winter breaks interning for Dad and Mark at Drury Outdoors. I spent one entire summer working in dad's 15x15 office and got a crash course in how to edit a full length hunting video with him literally looking over my shoulder the whole time! At the time Drury Marketing, Inc. edited and distributed Don & Kandi Kisky's "Whitetails Taking It To The Extreme" video series. That particular summer I was tasked with editing the Whitetails Extreme II title. A little known fact was that I edited together a couple of the first ever whitetail hunts on video that Lee and Tiffany Lakosky produced together. That was a tough summer working side by side with dad, but I learned more in those 3 months then I ever could in school. As I was nearing the end of my last semester in college Mark had offered me an editing position after graduation. Upon being hired at Drury Marketing, Inc. I was an editor for Wildlife Obsession and Dream Season as well as many of the Drury DVD titles throughout the first 4 years I worked here. I was fortunate to be able to travel many places as a camera man for Mark and Terry during this time period. In 2007 Mark and Terry offered me the Brand Manager position and today my current position is General Manager. Overseeing day in and day out business on behalf of Mark & Terry. I've been working at Drury Outdoors for 15 years and I'm looking forward to continuing to help dad and Mark pioneer Drury Outdoors into future generations to come! DeerCast, our new app, being at the forefront of that development! Matt Drury Location: I have been in and around Drury Outdoors my entire life. Growing up in the heart of Illinois golden triangle it was hard not to get addicted to hunting whitetail! I started hunting around the age of 10 and have never looked back. From the moment I shot the first spike buck with my dad I knew hunting would he apart of my life forever. I’m fortunate enough to have some family ground which has ramped up my passion through land management. Like most people I almost love the work for deer season more than deer season itself, almost! When I’m college I was fortunate enough to get to know Mark and Wade which has led to a great friendship with everyone on the Drury Team. When not hunting I enjoy spending time at the lake of the ozark, watching my step son Bryden play sports, and spend time with my new born little girl, Navy.
