4 TIMES THE FUN!!

After killing my bird on Saturday and texting and sending pics to Kolesar all morning long, he was bound and determined to get after them on Sunday. With his wife still doing ok and one more day before baby #2 makes his show, he got the green light to get out there. Fast forward 24 hours and JJ, myself, and Chris were setup again on a different farm to try our luck. We had to pop up another blind in the darkness to remain hidden and started booting up cameras to cover all our angles. About 7:15, Kolesar got a bird all fired up with the MAD aluminator and this bird was covering alot of ground quickly. A hen fight ensued behind the blind and put us all on red alert to get ready for the show. With four different cameras rolling, this bird absolutely read the script and marched right to the dekes.

Both the Go Pros captured the kill along with our 2 big cameras and we had just witnessed the best turkey hunt I had ever been a part of. I can honestly say it is one of the best filmed turkey kills I have ever seen and still in amazement how Chris, JJ, and myself managed to pull this off on an Illinois turkey. It usually just doesn't happen like that in Central Illinois at least for us. Big thanks to our buddy Chris and hoping I can return the favor to him next week before we head to Thunder Valley Trophy Hunts in Kansan in 2 weeks. (while JJ is home babysitting:) ) Good luck to all!! ~ Kyle

This bird had a 9 3/4" Beard and 1" spurs
