Pike County Illinois is not only known for big bucks; it also has an excellent turkey population as well! My best friend and filming partner Mike Klemmensen came into camp on Saturday and it rained all night long. We knew the grass was going to be wet, so we headed to a pasture field that we knew would have really short grass in it. The birds were more likely to strut in the pastures versus the tall grass fields or winter wheat fields. We made the right decision as 4 Toms came into our decoy set. Twenty-five yard shot from the PSE ended our day! Headed to Missouri in a couple days to chase the 3rd gobbler of the year. Can't wait!
