The taste of first blood is one you wait all year for, thankfully for us we tasted it on the 2nd evening of Georgia’s bow season. We had spent the week prior in North Dakota but were shot down by high temps, so we decided to head down south to Georgia to catch its opener.

The first evening we seen a lot of deer and passed a stud 3 year old 6x6 who has a really bright future but didn’t see a shooter we wanted to rage. Well the wind stayed out of the North the next evening so we slid into a bean field where we had pics of a few shooters this summer and hoped that one would show himself before dark. After watching does for most of the evening, we looked up to see “Crabby” heading our way. Unfortunately for him, he made a beeline for our tree and found himself on the business end of a Carbon Force arrow and Team Sylvia/Lindsey was on the board! Celebrity Dream Season had officially started, the ice had been broken, we have tasted blood and now we are just waiting on the Iowa opener to continue our quest!
