October 5: John O'Dell

Mother Nature did her part this year in South Texas with ample rainfall in early spring and summer with below average temps which led to optimal antler develop in our deer.  As a result I was fortunate enough to be hunting the largest deer of my life.  My Reconyx cameras were getting consistent pics of this giant buck coming to water.  I had set up the Muddy Redemption blinds for any East wind back in August.  On the first morning of my hunt this big boy read the script and I was lucky enough to make a lethal shot at 35 yards with my PSE Dream Season Decree and Rage Hypodermic broadhead.  What a rush!  The biggest deer of my life and that is Bow Madness!!
