JJ Kolesar & Kyle Lamore
Well it all started the night before opening day in 2004. I met Kyle through a large gathering of teachers at a restaurant in Staunton. It didn’t take long and we started talking hunting, in which we swapped stories about the goods, the bads, and the uglies. We both said it would be exciting to capture a hunt on film, and everything snowballed from there. We went out the next evening and I filmed Kyle harvest a doe on our first hunt of the 2004 year. We were so enthused, that since, we have been sitting in the same tree together.
We used the footage to highlight a 15-minute application tape that landed us a role on DSTV 3 (All Amateurs). Needless to say, we were pretty green, but we have kept after the pursuit. Each year we try to improve not only our hunting prowess, but also our production skills. We are just like every other “Average Joe” in the timber, working our hardest and spending every opportunity we can to get an edge on an elusive mature buck. We hunt only a few small tracts of land, and we have to make the most of it, just like the majority of hunters in the Heartland. Its tough and we consider ourselves the ultimate grinders, but when it all comes together, we believe you can feel the emotion and excitement pouring out to the viewer. Just like you do, when everything you have done comes together in sync. We love sharing the ups and downs of hunting with everyone! We hope you enjoy the shows, videos, and website, and wish everyone the best of luck in the woods this fall.
Sincerely, Kyle and J.J.
Bill Gadient & Dave Kramer
To all but a few of you viewers out there, you probably already know who Dave and I are so it makes little sense to get lengthy on what we've done in the past. The two of us have been filming our hunts together for nearly 16 years and with Drury's for eight seasons...crazy how fast it has all gone. What I'm here to share with you is what makes us "Natural Born Killers".
Now it seems the industry wide catch phrase these days is "average everyday hunter" or "average joe" or "just like all of you". I know the reason it's said, it's to try and align themselves with the bulk of the viewers out there. Well I'm here to say that I've seen the things that average hunters do and it makes it hard to be a NBK'er. We feel that most of Drury's viewers are hard core hunters just like us.
If sleeping in on Saturday is your game plan, you might be an average hunter. If getting out of bed at 3 am is how you do it then your a NBK'er. If parking close to your set is what you like...looks like average to me. Walking for an extra 20 minutes to get in your stand just to go undetected...NBK all the way.
We know that most of you are as passionate about hunting as we are, that's why we get up earlier, stay later, walk farther, climb higher, and practice longer. If we get off work on a Wednesday afternoon and there is time get in a tree for even a half hour that's what we do because you just never know when it'll all come together. The thrill that overtakes us when we wrap that tag around the base of an antler or the leg of a turkey is as intoxicating as anything in life could be.
There is nothing average about "Natural Born Killers", just as there is nothing average about a passionate hunter. Join us in our adventures as we try and bring you exciting hunts that have you in mind as much as ourselves.
Your hunting partners,
Bill Gadient & Dave Kramer
"100% hunting...absolutely no fillers...that's what you get with..."Natural Born Killers".
Ben Rising
My name is Ben Rising and live in northeast OH. I was born on July 19, 1974. I run a logging company in Ohio, and help landowners manage their land for timber production and wildlife. I have been logging since I was 16 years old.
I am also part owner in a new outfitting business in Killbuck, OH called Wolf Creek Outfitters.
I am married with 5 wonderful children. My hobbies include camping, coon hunting with hounds and turkey hunting. My passion is chasing huge whiteails. I love to spend time with my family, and sharing God's great gift, "THE GREAT OUTDOORS," with young people.
Joe Eugster & Eric Grover
Eric and I are roughly the same age, and grew up only about five miles apart. Eric went to school in Oregon and I went to Stoughton. We knew each other through wrestling back then, but our paths didn’t cross again until 2003. We started shooting a bow league together and we really hit it off well. We both had so many ambitions and goals that pertained to hunting. We were practicing QDM, planted food plots, used surveillance cameras, planted thousands of trees and were both Natural Born Killers! It really was quite amazing how similar our paths had been. Well, our friendship started to grow as fast as a trophy buck’s antlers in June.
Eric and I were introduced to Drury Outdoors by Brian Thompson and Jason Franzen…who were Drury Team Members at the time. When Brian and Jason stepped out from Drury, Eric and I were asked to join.
We love to hunt, we love the whole outdoors package and we hope it shows in the videos we produce.
We are all Natural Born Killers, every one of us. Some of us are just a little more in touch with our natural instincts then others. But we are Natural Born Killers and should be proud of it. We hope you enjoy the show.

Keeping that strong bond all the way through High School and College...these 2 veterans of small town living have found the secret to success in high end management on the properties they own and lease together! They have dropped some true giants and continue to do so by sticking to their Natural Born roots!
