For as long as I can remember I have been around hunting. My dad is an avid whitetail hunter and I can remember him bringing home deer when I was to little to even go with him. I started going with him when I was 10 years old and killed my first deer in my home state of Alabama when I was 11. That sparked a drive in me like nothing else has. From then on I was with my dad and brother every Saturday in a tree. As I grew older the passion for hunting grew. I played baseball in high school but other than that, hunting was all I wanted to do. I can remember watching my first Drury video before I could even drive and thinking filming big whitetails is what I want to do! I watched a ton of hunting shows growing up and liked a lot of them. Drury Outdoors did something that none of them did though. They taught the everyday hunter how to kill mature whitetails. I owe a lot of my hunting knowledge to my dad, and to Mark and Terry Drury.

My brother, Blair, is five years older than me and we have always been very close. Hunting is something that makes us close. I started filming some of our hunts while I was in high school. This progressed thru college, with my brother and I laying some good kills on video. For three summers, Blair and I called in to Drury Outdoors trying to get in any way we can. We had sent footage for a few years and were hoping that they would soon add to the pro staff team that I had always wanted to be apart of. Matt Drury called us in February of 2010 to say that there is a possibility of an amateur dream season for the next fall and for us to get a new video together and get it sent it. In April, Blair and I sent in everything we had and said our prayers! This is something I wanted so much! On June 9, 2010, Blair and I got the call in that we had been chosen for Dream Season 8 Workin’ Man! Matt also told us that Mark and Terry would choose one of the teams after the season to become apart of Drury Outdoors. I will be honest, I didn’t know how good of a chance we had but I knew we were going to give it our best! Blair and I won the Dream Season Workin’ Man show and now were apart of the greatest outdoor team in the industry. To date, Blair and I have shot several mature whitetails on camera and we hope to bring the Drury fans many more in the future!
