About the Journal
September 27 - Taylor Drury
Hunter: Taylor Drury
Animal: Whitetail Doe
Location: Missouri
Weapon: Browning Bow
Mark and Taylor had a weekend hunt planned at Uncle Terry’s farm which when the deer are moving can be a very target rich environment. The place is manicured to a tee and is set for 15 to 20 yard shots in and around his BioLogic food plots.
The weekend was amazing and they saw over 40 deer across three sittings from their sets. Saturday evening an adult doe got within 15 yards to one of Terry’s box blinds, a new box blind designed just like the new Dream Season Ground Blind from Ameristep with vertical windows for bow hunting. Taylor made a great shot, the Sniper made a complete pass through and she had her first doe ever with a bow and her second deer ever with a bow!
They had high hopes that a shooter would walk by; luck had it that nothing presented a shot. They are going to keep at it the rest season and hope that a nice buck walks by. There are lots of weekends left in the season so stay tuned to the journal to see what happens!
