Finally, summer vacation is here! With three months off, JJ and I headed back to Millville, New Brunswick, to meet up with Charles Lindsay of lindsaysportingcamps.com and kick off our first hunt for Dream Season 6 televsion! We drove up to bear hunt with Charles last year and fell in love with the place. The bear hunting, accomodations, and people are as good as it gets.

Last year, I took a great bear, however, this year I was committed to the PSE. I had never taken a bear with a bow and was looking forward to the challenge. The first night, we saw five different bears; the second night we saw eight, including one monster that I almost was able to release an arrow on. On Friday evening, around 8:00, I heard JJ say a good bear was coming. I grabbed my PSE and sent a Rage through him at only 25 yards!

We waited until the next morning for the recovery, but the bear only made it about 60 yards from the stand. I was thrilled to find an absolutely beautiful jet black coat on him and was pumped that we had our first kill for Dream Season 6 television!
