I was introduced to hunting by my father in 1978 at the age of 8. It all started when he got me a .410 shotgun and I began squirrel hunting and eventually quail hunting in those early years. I harvested my first deer in 1980 and began bowhunting at the age of 14. From that moment on bowhunting has been a huge passion for me. I have gotten to the
point where I enjoy all the preparation (scouting, velvet footage, trail cams, food plots, hanging stands, etc...) almost as much as the hunt itself. To harvest an animal is just the icing on the cake. I also enjoy hunting turkey and waterfowl. I always try each Spring to introduce a new person to hunting whether it be a youngster, adult, or even a co-worker to experience what God has given us in the outdoors.
