Episode 1 - "2 Bucks 2 Boys"
Team O'Dell/Reisner get on a plane and head for Washington state (not to be confused with Washington D.C. which is where the president lives). Here they are hunting Western Whitetails in velvet. (Which is pretty darn cool if you ask us and we think A LOT of hunters would love to get a Big Old Western Whitetail Buck in velvet.) We truly believe Dave Reisner only went to Washington State to hunt with Sherman Creek Outfitters because of Jodi Rasmussen's crepe's. All in all Dave got his Western buck and he got to eat his crepe's too.
They then hunt in Iowa (which is where these boys live) and John O'Dell puts the smackeroo on a "Hard Horned Buck" (which means they are no longer in velvet). You just might learn a thing or two on this show about the different hunting tactics while chasing a midwestern whitetail compared to a western whitetail so check it out.
Episode 2 - "Where the Cows and Antelope Play"
Rick and Julie Kreuter chase Antelope in South Dakota and Wyoming (Pretty much the only reason why Rick and Julie hunted in Wyoming is because South Dakota was not very good to them). Rick and Julie did not hunt on the ground, but in it (Yes they kind of looked like Prairie Dogs with their heads sticking out of the earth) and it definitely paid off for Jewels. (Jewels is a name that the guy who types this stuff up calls all girls named "Julie"). Then Ty Bartoskewitz (What a name BARTOSKEWITZ) hunts in New Mexico where not only the heat was making him hot but the cattle were making him really HOT! (In the sense of being mad and not sweaty). Ty had a lot of Antelope come into and near the waterhole he was sitting over (He saw a lot of Freakin' Antelope I am here to tell you). After the cattle make Ty really mad he promises to eat burgers and steak for a month. (Whether he did it or not we are really not sure). Ty spent a lot of time in the blind that he built and the cattle finally let an Antelope come in to drink. (Yes it was the Antelopes last drink.)
Episode 3 - "Early Season Fuzzy Horned Bucks"
Team Bothun and Irish or better known as the "Natural Born Killers" set sail for North Dakota(THEY ARE IN A TRUCK AND NOT A BOAT). The goal in mind is to Harvest(BETTER KNOWN AS KILL)a Buck in full velvet(OF COURSE THEY DO IT BEING NICKNAMED THE NATURAL BORN KILLERS).
We then hang with good ole southern boy Lance Chapman in his home state of Kentucky while he also tries to put the bonkers on one of the "Twin 10 bucks"(LANCE NICKNAMED THESE BUCKS THAT BECAUSE THEY WERE BOTH 10 POINTS AND THEY LOOKED ALIKE, THAT IS WHAT WE FIGURED ANYWAY). These bucks are also in velvet and Lance does get the job done! (ALL IN ALL THIS SHOW IS PRETTY MUCH ABOUT EARLY SEASON HUNTING WHILE THE BUCKS ARE STILL IN VELVET).
Episode 4 - "2 Men - 2 XForces - 2 Mule Deer"
Mark Drury stalks after some big Alberta Mule Deer. Believe it or not he actually gets one! Then Corey Jarvis from Three Rivers Adventures stalks after a Mule Deer and he get's one too…. And it was bigger than Mark's!!!
Episode 5 - "Hunting Couples Style"
The McFerrin's from Texas and the Olson's from Wisconsin have a lot in common. They choose to hunt with the one they love, their spouse. On this episode of Bow Madness they both do it couples style and on the first night while hunting Whitetails in Wisconsin and Texas.
Episode 6 - "First Time Bulls"
Bonnie McFerrin and John O'Dell both hunted Elk in New Mexico. Bonnie spent 4 days chasing these critters and had numerous encounters with some really nice bulls(If you ask Bonnie what her favorite encounter was she will most likely tell you the porcupine she saw with the mohawk). On day 4 bonnie made the trip a memorable one as she sliced and diced her first Bull Elk. John on the other hand spent 1 day and had 1 encounter and got the job done(John says it wasn't the biggest bull he saw there, but he could not pass up the 5 yard shot). Bow hunting for Bulls in New Mexico is what this show is about.
Episode 7 - "Bowhunting During Gun Season"
Chris Ward and Mark Drury take there XForces out into the woods during gun season(WHY?? WELL WE ARE NOT REALLY SURE. WE ARE STILL WAITING TO GET THE REPORT BACK FROM THE PSYCHIATRIC WARD. MAYBE THAT IS WHY CHRIS'S LAST NAME IS "WARD").
Although we do have to give them credit. Chris hunts for 8 days straight without really seeing a lot of deer, but his patience finally pays off on day 8. Mark hunts for 3 short days and the deer he makes a perfect heart shot on is the one his daughter Taylor misses earlier in the season (TAYLOR DRURY DID SAY THAT SHE MISSED THE DEER KNOWN AS "WHACKY RACK" ON PURPOSE, JUST SO HER DAD COULD HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY AT HIM ON ANOTHER DAY).
Episode 8 - "Hunting For The Bad Dogs"
Ty Bartoskewitz and Dan Thurston set out to harvest Predators with their Archery tackle. Predators of course are usually smarter than the average hunter. So the challenge for these boys could be a bit tough. Instead of hunting hunter style by trying to call in a Predator, they are doing it predator style by sitting and waiting patiently in the 90 degree weather over a water hole.
We also watch Mark Drury Kiss his way into a chip shot at an Alberta Coyote. Then Jason luster is Whitetail hunting in his home state and on the same day has 2 Coyotes stroll by his treestand. Unfortunately for Mr. Wiley Coyote, they did stroll a little too close to Jason's Treestand.
Episode 9 - "First Time Bucks"
Jared Lurk has a mission to help brother Justin and good friend Chad Flynn shoot their first ever Buck with a bow. One of these boys score fast on a deer and Jared also takes time for himself to put an Iowa Giant on the ground.
Episode 10 - "4 Shots - 4 Alberta Bears"
Two guys from Pennsylvania travel to North Alberta Outfitters in Alberta Canada. They are so excited to be going on this Bear hunt. After they get there they find out about the storm of the century that hit the area they would be hunting in, which would most likely keep the bears in hibernation a little longer.
Gregg Day ends up scoring his first night out and the next 2 days after that things were very slow for Rick Malik. Persistence for these 2 guys pay off on days 5 and 6 as both hunters fill their tags and are happy happy campers or should we say happy hunters.
Episode 11 - "Scouting and Hunting A New Location"
Both Adam and John Frank take Quality Deer hunting pretty seriously and pass on bucks that most hunters would love to see in the woods. These 2 guys have a shed collection that you could build a house with.
On this episode of Bow Madness the Frank Brothers Scout and Hunt new areas proving that if you do your homework you can score on some really big bucks.
Episode 12 - "The Drury's, The Shepley's and the Turkeys"
Mark and Terry Drury spend time in Kansas with Pete and Jonathan Shepley Turkey Hunting. It only took 2 days to get the job done and in Kansas you are aloud 2 tags. Both Jonathan and Pete Shepley release 2 arrows each but the question is do they come home with 2 Turkeys each?
Then we head to Iowa where Mark and Terry set out to do something that they have never done before and that is to hunt turkeys with archery equipment.
Episode 13 - "Terry Drury, The One and Only"
Terry Drury has been hunting for a long long time! Every year it is not just another hunt for Terry but yet another experience. Sure Terry struggles most years to kill a mature deer but he always gets the job done. Terry Drury can teach even a veteran bowhunter something new about this great sport. Whether it's how not to hit yourself in the eye with a branch or how to manage the deer herd on your property, Terry Drury is the man!
