I was born and raised in central Illinois where I learned about God, the outdoors and of my love of the sport of archery at a very young age. These passions grew bigger and bigger as I became an avid bow hunter and shooter on the IBO circuit. It was about this time that I decided to raise my right hand and join the Army, and this is where I’ve been since 1985.

I’ve carried my love and passion for the great outdoors into the military, and for the past 23-plus years, have been afforded the opportunity to hunt many different states for a variety of different game animals.
The opportunity to come on board as a Drury Outdoors team member has been one of the greatest events in my life (excluding of course the marriage to my wife of 24 years, the births of my children and grandchildren and being a soldier). The challenge of harvesting animals on film in a fair chase scenario fits the same career challenges that I faced in my job as a Scout for the Army.

Like a lot of you, I’m truly addicted to bow hunting, as it consumes every aspect of my life. I’m very fortunate to have a wife that enjoys my lifestyle, and puts up with my addiction - even when I take it to the extreme.

I have also been blessed to have a filming and hunting partner that shares not only my love for serving our country, but for bow hunting as well. My partner Ken Barteau is a true professional, and I’m proud to call him my best friend. Together we look forward to many years of bringing you the best hunting footage possible. God Bless!
