Bonnie grew up in Texas around grandparents who enjoyed hunting whitetail deer and a father who loved to dove and quail hunt. As a child she enjoyed camping and fishing with her family, but never experienced hunting personally.

Bonnie married Mike in 1994 with no intention of participating in his hunting hobby other than to "go along for the ride". After three years of watching how passionate he was about the outdoors, she decided to give whitetail deer hunting a try.

Twelve years and three children later, she enjoys hunting with Mike or hunting alone. Over the last six years she has harvested several Pope & Young bucks, as well as a nilgai bull. The joy and fulfillment she receives from spending time in the woods is a rewarding break from the fast-paced lifestyle of her day to day routine.
