Well on the way to the stand that afternoon, we got the snow, only about a inch but it got the bucks on their feet. The first couple of deer out were some stud 3 and 4 year olds but they were not what we were looking for. Out of nowhere we notice a large body deer in the field mixed in with some does, he raises his head and has white main beams that go straight up like a slingshot! I had no clue who this deer was at the time, but he was just what we were looking for and the TC did the deed .... we had our buck! I later found a shed in our pile from him that we picked up 2 years ago. An awesome way to the end the season and we couldn’t have been happier! - Jeff
