Terry Drury
Working with his father from early on in a family owned Construction Company, Terry became interested in a career as a general contractor. In 1986, he ventured out on his own to become owner of T. Drury Contracting, Inc., specializing in real estate development and commercial contracting. Thanks to a highly motivated and hardworking team he has been able to pursue an additional career in the Hunting Industry. Terry's love for the sport of hunting along with his brother Mark's, led to the development of Drury Outdoors in 1989. His belief in the ethics of hunting and high regard for safety in the woods is a key factor in this 100% Wild 100% Fair Chase Series©. Terry feels that a major component to any great hunting team, and part of the success of Drury Outdoors, is the gratification that comes from capturing their love for the sport on videotape, and the pride they take in the quality of their products.
Mark Drury
Mark has dedicated his life to bringing the outdoorsman the highest quality products available today. His competitive edge comes forth whether he is in the field hunting trophy whitetail or the elusive wild turkey. As a competitive turkey caller, Mark has captured no less than six different world titles in his more than 150 wins. He is still involved today in creating many new products for the M.A.D. Game Calls line. It can be said however that his truest passion lies with land management and ensuring the quality of a healthy animal population on his farm. Laying down a successful deer harvest on videotape with his daughter Taylor may be his biggest thrill of all. He and brother Terry have dedicated their entire careers to bringing that excitement into the viewer's living rooms year in and year out.
Matt Drury
I have been in and around Drury Outdoors my entire life. From an early age I watched as my Father, Terry, and Uncle Mark grew the company from the ground up. Appearing in several of the original videos as a kid I had received a first hand knowledge of what it took to produce a video. I was lucky enough to be able to sit in on several of Mark and Terry's studio edit sessions and learned to love the "behind the scenes" process more then the actual hunting itself. Little did I know that later in life those studio sessions would have helped shape my future and career choice. As I was nearing the end of my last semester in college Mark had offered me an editing position after graduation. Upon being hired at Drury Marketing, Inc. I seemed to have found my way back to the sport I used to love spending time with dad doing. I've had a blast hunting with dad again and I love heading up to the farm to chase those awesome whitetails!
Taylor Drury
For 15 years now, I have been around hunting and learned about the outdoors from my dad and Uncle Terry. My dad has been taking me out since I was a little girl and now that I am older I have gained a respect for the sport. There is nothing more fun than spending time with family while trying to harvest an animal. As years pass I am getting more into the producing aspect of the business and trying to become more involved with Drury Outdoors. I love turkey and deer hunting with a gun but my favorite is hunting whitetails with a bow. Hunting with archery is definitely more challenging but when you get the job done you feel as if you accomplished so much more. When bow season comes around every year I make sure I take every chance I can get to hunt when I am out of school. I will certainly continue hunting for the rest of my life because there is no way I will ever get tired of those unforgettable hunts!
Dan Thurston
I was born and raised on a farm in the Flint Hills of Kansas. My passion for hunting and the outdoors began at a very early age and still continues to this day. Who would of known 10 years ago when "two knot heads" (Mark & Terry) pulled into my drive way to hunt Whitetail Deer would be a "life changing event"! I am now apart of the Bow "Sadness" I mean Madness Team and I've enjoyed running rampant all over the states in my Bow Madness Mobile trying to harvest the game I have come to love.
John and Adam Frank
John started hunting with his grandfather from age 12 providing the beginning of his hunting interests. His love for the sport has branched from well-trained hunting dogs flushing ringnecks, to the gobble of a mature tom on a cool spring morning. In the last decade, his hunting sights have evolved further to include the elusive P&Y class whitetail deer. His largest trophy scores 181". Photographing bucks in velvet combined with shed antler hunting helps him to pattern mature bucks. Adam started hunting with John several years back and has never looked back since! Providing the comedy for the duo...and offsetting John's tough man mentality...Adam is a breath of fresh air to the entire Bow Madness Team. Over the past couple of years he has also proved to be quite the hunter too!
Rick and Julie Kreuter
Julie grew up on the family ranch in the Sandhills of Nebraska. Up until graduating from college with a degree in Physical Therapy, most of her spare time was spent either horseback working cattle or on a tractor in the hayfield. Julie grew up in a hunting family, but it wasn't until she married Rick when she started chasing animals with a bow. As beginner's luck, her very first bow kill was a great 150's class whitetail that she shot from a treestand in Nebraska while Rick was in Wyoming. While working in the Physical Therapy profession, Julie also enjoyed helping Rick guide hunters for their outfitting business, RK Outfitters. Now, in addition to being a part of the Drury Outdoors Team, she is also the other half of Beyond The Hunt. Needless to say, Julie truly enjoys spending her time in the outdoors and feels every day in the field is great opportunity to learn. She cherishes all of the friendships made along the way! Rick was raised in the small town of Sundance, Wyoming near Devils Tower. Introduced to the outdoors and hunting by his father Larry, Rick has been hooked since the age of 7. He first started shooting his Dad's Bear recurve and still enjoys shooting traditional equipment today. After earning his degree in Physical Therapy, Rick also started RK Outfitters, a guiding service specializing in archery, and has now been guiding hunts for western big game for over 16 years.Today Rick and his wife Julie continue to chase their dreams as they host their own television show Beyond The Hunt in addition to being a part of the Drury Outdoors family. From the very first day of producing for Dream Season Couples, Rick and Julie are very honored and proud to be a part of the Drury Team.
Justin and Jared Lurk
Jared and Justin's love for, and understanding of the outdoors have been growing ever since harvesting their first whitetails as young boys under the supervision of their father John. Jared recognized at an early age that he needed to supplement his hunting knowledge by actively participating in the sport as well as reading magazine articles and watching outdoor videos. Since then, countless hours have been spent a field - watching, learning, videoing, taking Reconyx pictures of and understanding the sought after game. Justin, on the other hand, spent countless hours enjoying the another side of life….socializing, telling jokes, cheerleading for the Missouri Tigers, and laying out by his pool. The brothers where set on different paths, until the fall of November of 2006. Justin took a week's vacation and joined Jared in the southern Iowa whitetail world of GIANTS … and since joining forces - the rest, as they say - is 'video' history. They enjoy their active role on the Drury Outdoors team and will continue to lend their time, talents and work ethic to future television productions.
Gregg Day and Rick Malik
Rick and Gregg met back in 1985 and have been best friends ever since. We both shared a huge passion for the outdoors and started hunting together every chance we had. We were both in college, but during breaks found time to hunt together. We actually shot our first bucks with a bow on the same day, not 100 yards from each other. We took our first out of state hunt together and have traveled to many other states since filming with Drury Outdoors. In 1998, I got into outdoor filming and it wasn’t long before Gregg was involved as well. We were very lucky to be on the first Dream Season television show and have been a part of the DOD family ever since. Gregg lives in Southwestern Pennsylvania and has been hunting since the age of 12. He owns and operates several Personal Care Homes. He is married with two daughters, Abby and McKenzie. He loves bowhunting anything and lives for spring turkey season. In addition to hunting whitetails, Gregg is a referee for college soccer and coaches an elite girls soccer team. Rick also resides in southwestern Pennsylvania and has been hunting since the age of 12. He is the Worldwide Director of a healthcare consulting firm for Johnson & Johnson. He has a beautiful wife Karen, oldest daughter Madison, son Luke and youngest daughter Kolbie.
John O'Dell and Dave Reisner
Dave and I met in middle school back in the early 80's. We immediately relaized we shared a passion for the outdoors so we began hunting and fishing together. I lived on the edge of town so Dave would ride his moped to my house with his trusty .410 single barrel shotgun strapped to the side so that we could go hunting together. I was with Dave when he shot his first rooster pheasant and I called in his first spring gobbler more than 20 years ago. This past fall I called in his first archery bull in NM. Needless to say we have been on countless hunting adventures together and in 1993 we started capturing our hunts on film for Drury Outdoors. We have become a part of the DOD family and are now the longest tenured Team in Drury Outdoors. We are also co-hosts of PSE and Drury Outdoors Bow Madness. We feel truly blessed to be part of the best Team in the outdoor industry and our passion for hunting and filming is burning as much now as it was the first day we started.
Jeff and Chris Propst
Jeff and Chris Propst share a special bond, not only are they Father and Son, but share the same passion for bowhunting and living the outdoor lifestyle. Chris was born to be a hunter, Jeff started taking Chris into the woods with him at the age of 3 years old, listening to spring gobblers, from that point on, Chris's love for the outdoors grew with every passing year. The Father/Son duo have been very blessed to hunt all over the US and Canada filming their adventures for Drury Outdoors. Jeff and Chris love to hunt Midwestern Whitetails and turkeys, as well as Elk in the Rockies. Being a part of Bow Madness is a natural fit for Jeff and Chris, they are both passionate bowhunters, and love the challenge that bowhunting provides.
